Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Yma o Hyd, we understand how deeply personal and precious your order is. Because each piece of jewellery is handcrafted using your loved one's ashes, hair, or sentimental elements, we have designed a secure, stress-free process to ensure absolute safety and respect at every stage.
1. The Memorial Collection Process
Once you place your order, we will send you a complimentary Collection Kit with clear instructions on how to safely pack a small amount of your loved one's ashes or hair.
Sending the Kit to You: We ship your Collection Kit via Royal Mail Tracked 24 within [X, e.g., 2–3] working days of your order.
Returning the Kit to Us (Prepaid): Included in your kit, you will find a prepaid Royal Mail Tracked 24 return label. Simply package your elements according to the instructions, attach the label, and drop it off at your local Post Office or booked collection. This ensures your precious elements are fully tracked on their journey back to our studio in Wales.
2. Order Processing & Creation Times
Because every piece is custom-made with care, our creation times can vary depending on the design.
Our standard turnaround time is 2 - 4 weeks from the date we receive your returned Collection Kit at our studio.
Any unused ashes or hair will be treated with the utmost respect and will be returned to you safely alongside your finished jewellery.
3. UK Delivery Rates & Methods (Finished Jewellery)
To ensure the secure arrival of your completed memorial jewellery, we only use fully tracked and insured shipping methods.
Royal Mail Special Delivery (Guaranteed Next Day by 1pm)
This service requires a signature upon delivery to ensure your jewellery is handed over safely.
Free UK Shipping: We offer free delivery on all orders.
4. Order Tracking
As soon as your finished jewellery is packaged and dispatched, we will email you a tracking number. You will be able to follow its journey from our Welsh studio straight to your doorstep.
